People protect what they love, and we show people how much there is love about the sea. The Ullapool Sea Savers is a kids’ marine conservation charity supporting local young people to raise awareness of the challenges facing our local marine environment and finding ways to celebrate and promote that environment.

Located at the heart of the Wester Ross Marine Protected Area, Ullapool is a community immersed in the life of the sea. Our young people have learnt throughout their lives about the amazing amount our marine environment has to offer from employment, to food, to recreation to the opportunity to enjoy some of the most incredible wildlife on the planet. However, we are also aware of the threats the seas now face. Rather than just getting overwhelmed, sad and angry about this, we have come together to seek out positive, proactive ways to work to promote, protect and save the seas.
